Welcome to Class 1
Class 1 is home to our reception (EYFS) children.
Our teacher is Mrs Wykes and our teaching assistants are Mrs Davis (mornings) and Miss Looms (afternoons).
Our classroom is a well organised, inviting and exciting place to learn where children access continuous provision alongside adult-led activities. We have our own Early Years garden with many opportunities for outdoor learning.

Spring Term 1 Enquiry Question - What is the weather today?
Overview
Our new project enquiry question for this half term is ‘What is the Weather Today?’ This will involve exploring the changes in our local environment as we move through the winter season. We will observe how the weather changes and how humans and animals adapt to the wintry conditions. Our keys texts for this half term will include Jack Frost, One Snowy Night and Rosie’s Hat.
