Welcome to a Spectacular Spring term term at Summercourt Academy – filled with inspiring learning opportunities, a new project enquiry question and thought-provoking discussions about inventions and how they have changed our lives.
The enquiry question we will be exploring this term is: Does it take bravery to invent? We will explore the Industrial Revolution and discuss how the inventions made during that time have shaped our lives today. In science, we will be investigating different materials and their uses, linking this to some of the inventions we look at in history.
This topic hopes to inspire bravery in children and show them that they can achieve greatness if they believe in themselves.
