Our enquiry question for the Spring Term is "What is the Most Powerful Force on Earth?"
During this project, we will explore a range of different forces, including physical forces such as; gravity, magnetism, and electricity; forces in nature such as volcanoes, earthquakes, and tsunamis; and more abstract forces such as kindness, willpower and hope. We will examine how actions and choices have consequences whether they be positive, negative, or even neutral according to the situation and the various forces involved.
Optional spelling homework is set every 2 weeks.
In class, we focus on the same 15 spellings. It would be great if you could explore them at home too. :)
- Can you read all 15 words?
- Do you know the definitions of all 15 words?
- What sound does the underlined phoneme make?
- Can you think of any other words that have the same phoneme spelt in the same way.?
- How many of these words can you spell? Try to practise any that you find tricky.
